The aim of the project 'Green Threeseas for Cities’ is to promote Poland as a leader in sustainable urban development in the Threesea area in the context of the World Urban Forum (WUF11). By producing an expert report in 12 languages and a ten-minute film summarising the effects of Silesia’s industrial transformation, we will want to promote Poland as a country with modern cities and interesting examples of industrial city revitalisation.
By means of stationary meetings in all partner countries, we will present the completed report and film to the participants, exchange experiences, encourage them to visit Silesia and promote Poland as a leader of transformation in the Tricity region. During one-day meetings in each city of a partner organisation we will hold a lecture with local government officials, activists, NGO leaders and people interested in the topic of industrial transformation. At each event, we will present the created report and film, promoting Silesia as a model of transformation and urban revitalisation.
